Celebrating Dame Anita Roddick (1942-2007)

A year ago, Dame Anita Roddick spoke here in Syracuse. What a shock it was to see that she died suddenly in September 2007 of a stroke. She had revealed earlier this year that she had contracted Hepatitis C 35 years ago, although she only discovered it in 2004. For a woman with a very serious disease, she never slowed down!

The groups that sponsored her presentation in Syracuse are now making a video of her talk available online for a limited time only (two weeks from Nov. 5, 2007). You can view that video, along with an interview done the same day, at http://whitman.syr.edu/eee.

Nobody talks of entrepreneurship as survival, but that's exactly what it is and what nurtures creative thinking.
