WISE 2007: Speaker Information



Interesting facts about several presenters for the 2007 Symposium…

B. Smith, B. Smith Enterprises: B. Smith knows style: The former fashion model turned restaurateur, television host, author, entrepreneur and entertainer extraordinaire is widely regarded as an expert when it comes to casual but elegant living. She owners three successful restaurants, has her own line of jewelry on QVC and home bedding products at Bed, Bath & Beyond.

Victoria MacKenzie-Childs, Victoria & Richard Emprise: After the cessation of the genuine, original MacKenzie-Childs founded in 1983, Victoria & Richard rose up to the challenge with a new adventure, Victoria & Richard Emprise. Victoria’s works have been exhibited at industry trade shows, where they rave reviews and explosive sales, doubling at each showing.

Patience Brewster, Patience Brewster, Inc.: Patience has illustrated cards for several card companies and launched her own card company. Today, Patience is spending all her time designing cards and ornaments while working on her annual original art show with her sister on Martha's Vineyard.

Susan Lacz, Ridgewells Catering: A recognized leader and sought-after public speaker in the Catering and Special Events Industry, Susan Lacz is passionate about her work. She works on catering high profile sporting events such as the US Open Men’s Championship and the annual NFL Super Bowl.

Randy Snow, R & R Partners: After years back and forth between agency and client sides of the industry, Randy found a home as the Creative Director of R & R Partner’s Las Vegas office and oversees the agency’s creative staff in Las Vegas, Reno and Salt Lake City and is one of the masterminds behind the “What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas” campaign.

Seattle Sutton, Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating: Sutton, of Marseilles, Ill., founded the company in 1985 at the age of 53 to help improve people’s eating habits and has continued her original mission to this day. She did so with only $1,000, three employees and a lot of determination to make it a success.

Saundra Parks, The Daily Blossom: When it comes to flowers, Saundra Park’s Daily Blossom is the go-to florist for many of New York City’s financial, corporate and entertainment elite for one-of-a kind centerpieces, arrangements and floral design.

Doreen Marks Garrett, Otis Products: Doreen became an inspired entrepreneur as a 15-year-old girl, while out hunting with her father. Otis Products, Inc. is one of the nation’s leading manufacturer of firearms maintenances systems and regarded by global professional firearms users as the most advanced gun care system provider. She recently opened a new $1 million day care center just steps away from the manufacturing facility.

Fran & Bill Lytle, Brand Champs, LLC: Fran & Bill Lytle are Consumer Behaviorists, Brand Strategists, Published Authors and Radio Show Hosts. They are also the Co-founders of Brand Champs, which works with brands to develop strong relationships with consumers through marketing, communications, promotions and entertainment content. They have particular expertise in marketing to women, the primary decision-makers for most categories.

Mary Cantando, WomenBusinessOwner.com: Mary Cantando is a nationally-recognized author, speaker and columnist who focuses exclusively on helping women grow their businesses. As an entrepreneurial executive, she’s founded, led and expanded businesses for over 20 years. Mary has personally closed contracts of $50MM with Fortune clients, and as a consultant, she helps women develop new revenue streams.
